THE Year

This is the year everybody. Our area is BLOWING UP! Literally exploding! Shrapnel and debris flying every which way. former investigators dripping off the walls and sacrament cups all over the ground.

I don't know how this week could've gone any better. Everything just worked out. Just to give you a rough vision of how things are going... We had 8 investigators at church yesterday. EIGHT. OCHO 🕗. You may recall that that is something we have always struggled in in this area. People just haven't come to church here. BUT THIS WEEK WAS AWESOME! We got to see our investigators like every day and recommit them all to their baptisms and had some great member support at our lessons, and as a result, this was probably the most successful I've felt on my mission. We're just doing work here! :')

On top of all of that, we had to deal with a couple troublesome companionships... It's probably not best to spill all the details.. But it basically includes missionaries who hate each other and one elder who we found out has been lying about his area for 2 months and has now gone home to let other missionaries clean up his mess... We decided to go have lunch with one of our district leaders so that we could talk about how to improve his district in a non-threatening environment, and all in all.... Oakland is the place to be.

Things are going super well with Elder Wallace and I.

Oh PS, I passed my 18 month mark this week. Sooo... I guess I'll see you in  6 months!
